Every number on aaaa.fyi is real or absent. There are no invented ratings and no editorial scores.

The sources

GitHub — stars, forks, license, last push, for every listed repo

npm — monthly downloads and daily series for anything installed via npx or npm

PyPI — monthly downloads for anything installed via pip

skills.sh — install counts for agent skills, the same numbers the CLI shows

The rules

If a listing has no public registry, its installs column shows a dash. We never estimate.

Rankings sort by installs first, GitHub stars as the tiebreaker.

Stats refresh several times a day. The "updated" column is the repo's real last-push time.

Listings are never silently deleted, so links keep working.

Community ratings are shown separately from registry data and never affect the default ranking.

Why it matters

A directory is only useful if you can trust it. The fastest way to lose that trust is to rank by opinion and call it data. We'd rather show a smaller set of true numbers than a bigger set of invented ones. When a number looks surprising, click through — the source is one hop away.
